Seville is located in south-western Spain, on the plain of the lower Guadalquivir, and lies on the banks of this river, which has seen the rise and fall of many civilizations. Each and every one of them left its seed, explaining the magnificent historical, monumental and cultural heritage of the city. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters.

The most important tourist sites are the Gothic Cathedral, the Golden Tower (Torre del Oro), the ruins of the Roman City “Itálica”, the Indies Archives (Archivo General de Índias), the Real Alcázar and the Maria Luisa’s Park (Parque de María Luisa).
